Our Christmas tree and our presents (mostly from my mother) stacked in a neat cube on the coffee table by Becky:

Clem standing with his stuffed mouse in the National Railway Museum:

Clem gazing at the heavy snow we’ve had, clutching his stuffed mouse:

Clem loves Christmas trees. He doesn’t know what presents are yet. He has learned to say “star”, “Ho Ho Ho” and “snowman”. He has been afraid of the snow so far. But Gordon likes it. We went out tonight and he acted like it was carnival.
I hope everyone is having a good winter and good Christmas season so far!

I haven’t dared put the presents out because I think Hugh would unwrap them all as soon as I left the room, or indeed before. Of course, the fact I haven’t actually wrapped them yet might also have something to do with it.
Clem looks very sweet with his mouse! I hope the snow stays long enough for him to start enjoying it.

Today as we headed out to nursery, he was leading me by the hand to the door, then when I opened the door and he saw the ice and snow on the ground, a look of concern passed over his face and he turned to me and held out his arms to be picked up.

I think once he builds his first snowman, he’ll see the benefit of the stuff.
